Easter is a special time to honor Jesus for paying the ultimate sacrifice for us. Jesus died for us, and now we want to live for him! Our Easter service is centered around the classic Easter message, a special time of worship, and basking in the joy we have in Jesus!

Services start at 10:00 AM! We would love for you to join us!

During our Sunday service we also have nursery and Gateway KIDS classes for children from birth to 6th grade! These classes are dedicated to teaching your child the bible on their own level through fun and connection, in a safe environment.

Good Friday is a day meant for reflection and thanks to Jesus for His sacrifice for us.

During the Way of the Cross, our sanctuary will be open for you, individually, or with your family, to spend time walking through scripture stations. You will be presented with a time to reflect Jesus' last moments, partake in communion, and take time for prayer and worship.

This is a slow paced, intentional, self-guided time that reflects on the real and true meaning of Good Friday. All ages are welcome to join. Please note that parents are asked to guide their kids through this journey to help us keep the reflective environment for those participating.

Gateway Church will have a booth at the Lumberton Easter Egg Hunt at Lumberton City Park on 421. It’s a great family event! Come on out and be sure to come see us at our booth to get some free ice cream and grab a photo at our super cute photo booth!

BAPTISMS:

We will celebrate these new lives in Jesus with water baptism during our Sunday morning service in the sanctuary.

FOOD & FESTIVITIES:

We will serve concession-type foods, supply all the drinks, plates, and other paper goods.

We ask that you sign up to bring a dessert to share.

Lunch will be served in the Event Center. You can choose to eat indoors or outdoors. Just remember to bring your lawn chairs for all the outdoor activities!

REGISTRATIONS:

This event is free, but we ask that you register each individual so that we are sure to have enough food.
