Giving at Gateway is simple and secure.

Why give?

When we give a tithe of first fruits to the church, we put God first in our lives. It symbolizes that we put our trust in our God and that we know He is faithful to take care of us. A generous, obedient, and cheerful giver is at the heart of giving.

Proverbs 3:9–10

[9] Honor the LORD with your wealth and with the first-fruits of all your produce [10] then your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will be bursting with wine.

2 Corinthians 9:6–7

[6] The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. [7] Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

Tithing and giving an offering are acts of worship, gratitude, faith, and love for others. Because of your generous giving, Gateway Church is reaching the world and our local community with the love of Jesus.

Here’s a glance at how your faithful giving continues to impact the kingdom.

Made up primarily of Jewish people, as well as other followers of Jesus who are committed allies of the Jewish people. Their staff promote Jewish faith in Jesus, facilitate Jewish community, and provide local services.

Works to provide clean water for people living in desperate need around the world. Our church goal is to donate at least one water well per year.

Through Gateway Missions, you can spread Christ’s love to the lost around the world and serve those in need. We would love to see you experience a life-changing ministry trip with your Gateway family!

Provides food, utilities, medical assistance and school supplies to persons in need. The Christian faith community and individuals of Kountze and surrounding areas help stock the pantry and contribute monetarily for other needs.

It is an honor to partner with TPR to build a handicap ramp for someone in need in our Hardin County area. TRP provides free wheelchair ramps to low-income older adults and people with disabilities identified by local health care providers. Ramps are built exclusively with volunteer labor, keeping costs to a minimum. Their vision is that no Texas resident shall lack safe access because of financial limitations.

*Gateway Church receives referrals for ramps through Texas Ramp Project. Applications are not directly submitted to us. To submit an application for a ramp, go to the TRP website at

While certain Gateway Church Pastoral Care services are only available for Gateway Church Members, there are times that needs arise for someone in our local community. The need may be an electric bill, money for a bus ticket, or emergency food needs just to list a few.

God provides for the ministry of Gateway Church through your generosity. We honor your gifts with faithful stewardship, ethical business practices, and full accountability so that we maintain financial integrity. All gifts are tax-deductible and you will be given a giving statement at the beginning of the year.
